Refund Policy

1. Free Tools — No Payment Needed

All core GST tools on SmartGST are completely free to use. The free plan includes access to all 11 tools with reasonable usage limits. No payment or credit card is required for the free plan.

2. Paid Plans

SmartGST offers paid subscription plans (Pro and Business) for users who need higher limits and premium features. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your paid features will remain active until the end of the current billing period
• No future charges will be applied after cancellation
• Your account will automatically revert to the free plan
• Any data stored during your paid subscription will remain accessible

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are accepted under the following conditions:

• Request must be made within 7 days of payment
• The paid features must not have been substantially used
• Duplicate or accidental payments are always eligible for refund

Refunds will not be issued after 7 days of payment or if the paid features have been substantially utilized during the subscription period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@smartgst.in with:

• Your registered email address
• Payment transaction ID or Razorpay order ID
• Reason for refund request

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method. The refund will appear in your bank account or card statement depending on your bank's processing time.
